The BarkBrace is specifically designed for dogs with weak backs, IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), post-surgery pain, and general back support for aging dogs. It helps stabilize the spine and reduces twisting to prevent further damage.

The BarkBrace speeds recovery by providing stability to your dog's spine, reducing pressure on their back, and preventing potentially harmful movements. It's especially beneficial for dogs recovering from IVDD or spinal surgery, allowing them to move more comfortably while healing.

The BarkBrace is made from breathable, medical-grade neoprene that's soft, moisture-wicking, and gentle on your dog's skin. It includes flexible splint supports that provide structure without restricting natural movement.

The BarkBrace is designed for comfortable all-day wear. However, we recommend following your veterinarian's specific advice regarding wearing duration based on your dog's condition and recovery stage.

Measure your dog's back length and chest circumference. We offer three sizes for dogs under 30lbs:

Size 1: Back 10.5–12.5" | Chest 12.25–14.75"
Size 2: Back 12.5–14.5" | Chest 14.5–17.5"
Size 3: Back 15.125–17.125" | Chest 18–21"

Please note that BarkBrace is not suitable for dogs over 30lbs.

The BarkBrace features a quick and easy application design. Simply place the brace on your dog's back, wrap the straps around their chest, and secure with the adjustable fasteners. No complicated straps or special techniques required.

Yes! The BarkBrace is designed to allow your dog to "do their business" without needing to remove the brace. The design leaves the necessary areas unobstructed while still providing full back support.

The BarkBrace features adjustable tension straps that allow you to modify support levels. For active time, tighten the straps slightly for more stability. During rest periods, you can loosen them slightly for comfort while still providing essential support.

Signs your dog might benefit from a BarkBrace include: difficulty climbing stairs, reluctance to jump, back pain when touched, reduced activity levels, or a diagnosis of IVDD or other back conditions. Always consult with your veterinarian before using any supportive device.

If your dog shows signs of discomfort, remove the brace immediately and check for any irritation. Make sure you have the correct size and are applying it properly. If problems persist, consult your veterinarian. Remember that dogs may need a short adjustment period to get used to wearing the brace.
